Car hire
Once you arrive at the airport you will need a car. To visit the enormous amount of tourist attractions within the Dordogne a car is essential. The usual car hire companies can be found at the airports mentioned and should be booked in advance. However, the cheapest car hire in France is at the Leclerc supermarket chain. Their car hire branch is called Leclerc Location. However, they are all around 5 to 20 minutes away from the various airports which could be costly in a taxi. An alternative might be to catch a train to Sarlat or Souillac.
